The shared lounge was a great place to relax and meet other guests. One evening, I found myself engrossed in a lively conversation with fellow travelers, exchanging stories and laughs as if we had known each other for years. It felt like a cozy gathering in a friend's living room.

The rooms at Vintage Balcony Guesthouse are cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home as a backpacker. Having a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and stovetop in certain rooms was a great bonus for me, allowing me to prepare my own meals and save money. The single room with a patio was a lovely feature, providing a relaxing space to enjoy the fresh air and unwind after a day of exploring. It was convenient to have a wardrobe in the rooms, keeping my belongings organized and easily accessible during my stay. The addition of bed linen in the rooms was a nice touch, saving me the hassle of bringing my own and ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The suite with a tumble dryer came in handy, allowing me to easily freshen up my clothes after spending time outdoors. The suite with a balcony offered a beautiful view of the garden, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the garden view in the suite. I prefer more urban settings.

I had the most incredible stay at a guesthouse in Ovar with outstanding decor. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was of the highest quality. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this place for a truly remarkable experience.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved that dogs were allowed at this guesthouse. Bruno, the host, was attentive and hospitable. The house had a beautiful and atmospheric atmosphere. The location of the guesthouse is quite convenient, as it is within walking distance to local cafes and restaurants. it is close to the station, making it easy to get around. The room and bathroom are well-decorated, and the shared kitchen is charming and well-equipped. The hosts are attentive and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Guests can also enjoy a lovely balcony and garden, with the latter soon to include a jacuzzi and space for yoga.

There is one small downside to the guesthouse. Guests have to park their cars on a small square located about 100 meters up the street, which might be inconvenient for those with a lot of luggage to carry.
